Despite collecting vast amount of records in London and New York over the last 17 years, his career began in 2002 where Honza played at the Deptford’s legendary Paradise Bar, his Wednesday slot consisted of the finest in Jazz-Funk, Rare Groove and left field lounge music. He then held a three year residency at Bar Equal Honor Oak in upfront electro, soulful and minimal house.

His eclectic taste in music with 1000s of records has enabled him to spin straight house, disco, funk or soul sets all around London. Honza likes to fuse many styles of music into his set.

He held a residency at Camberwell’s student/postgrad friendly Funky Munky on Saturday’s along side The Wook of the Drum& Bass crew ‘Differnt Drumz’. The night consisted of a fistful of funk, Studio one 7’s, old school and new school house & broken beats. Honza continues to hold many residencies around London.

His record collection which spans over the last three decades has giving him the  opportunity to hold residencies at many established venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, London, Moe’s Brooklyn NY, Funky Munky Camberwell and London’s Antic and Grand Union bars. A self confessed vinyl junkie, Honza can play straight house, hip hop, indie, funk and soul sets.
